The conclusion of the fourth edition of the program, was an exhibition entitled “No Time To Grieve For Roses When The Forests Are Burning” presenting objects developed during project work at OP ENHEIM.
The reflections of the female and male artists awarded in the fourth installment of the OP_YOUNG program were an attempt to face current problems. On the one hand, progress and the increasingly fast pace of life, and on the other hand, the need to analyze and account for the past. Thus, at the exhibition we found references to totalitarianisms and systemic oppression, human greed and the destructive power of the individual, also in the context of appropriation, seizure and destruction. In the works presented, we discovered important, for the artists and the artist, sometimes intimate themes, which, through the use of the language of art, were elevated to universal status.
