OP_YOUNG is a programme which aims to promote the art of young, progressive male and female artists associated with Lower Silesia. We invite artists and visual artists under 35 years of age who are associated with the Lower Silesia area to participate. Please submit both existing projects and concepts ready to be realised. All those interested can submit their proposals until 16 July 2024, 11.59 pm by filling in the Application Form.

OP_YOUNG was created in 2020 out of the need to support the local artistic community in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. Reacting to the uneasy situation of female and male artists, we created a programme which is not based solely on financial aid, but which, through its extensive formula, has a chance to influence the revival of the Lower Silesian art scene and to include representatives of the younger generation in the area of critical and artistic discussion. As part of the OP_Young program, we awarded a total of 12 young artists and granted 7 honorable mentions and one extra-award.
